We have posted a new question and answer from Joel.  The student asked, “Where does error come from, since God is all in all?”

We have posted a new question and answer from Joel.  It is a question that many of us have:  “How does one stop conscious thought from racing through one’s mind in meditation?”

Posted on December 4, 2019

In the Christmas Message we heard on November 30, Joel suggested that it can be fruitful to read several of the Christmas messages.

He said, “If you read each one of these Christmas messages … you will find that whereas the principles do not vary, there is always enough difference in the message so that a different idea is brought to light. … You would discover that at the end of the reading, you would have a fuller grasp of the nature of the Christmas than just  by reading one at a time.  In other words, a little something or other would come back from each one of these past messages and form a greater whole, but actually what you would discover is this—that your own consciousness had developed over the years so that that which you had read only with the mind, now you are beginning to discern through the soul faculties, through the power of spiritual discernment, and so, you were getting closer and closer to the point of realization.”

If you would like to take Joel’s suggestion during this Christmas season, Acropolis Books has collected all of Joel’s Christmas messages in the book titled The Christmas Letters.  It is available from Amazon, deVorss, and other online retailers.
